This roundabout which has four major exits serves as the gateway to different parts of the city. Driving here can be a little difficult as it is always very busy.

Wurukum Makurdi is a place to behold. Located in the center of Benue State Capital Makurdi, Wurukum is an ever busy spot in Makurdi. Benue State motto or slogan is known or regarded to as Nigeria Food Basket. Wurukum has a strong depiction of the Food basket of the nation with an architectural sculptor a of a very big basket containing containing varieties of several food such as yam, cassava, oranges, pine apple etc. Wurukum is also significant for having the Biggest church auditorium in Benue State (The Living Faith Church) which is situated adjacent the Wurukum round about. Hundreds of worshippers troop in their numbers from all part of the state capital to the church therefore making the place very crowdy and leaving traffic in a slow state. Another great reason for the large number of persons or crowd in Wurukum is the situation of the headquarters of the state owned transport company - Benue Links. Its located opposite the Living Faith Church and also the Wurukum Market. What more reasons can you advance for such growing numbers of persons that often come in their numbers to either travel or receive goods from Benue Links, worship at Living faith or shop for groceries and other household products at the Wurukum market. Overall, wurukum is a place to behold, when next you come to north central Nigeria, try visiting Benue state. I bet you cannot see Benue state complete until you visit Wurukum.
