I go into the barracks for church activities. It may not be comfortable for visitors who are coming in for the first time as the military intelligence at the gate will interrogate you offensively. If you are using motorcycle to enter the barracks, you must have your helmet on before you can even be allowed to enter. There is ATM, medical facilities, primary and secondary schools, petty shops and football pitch.
