Really enjoyed my stay, the safari ride was awesome too. Yankari is one f the best holiday destination I have visited. However, the convenience room at the wikki warm springs need rehabilitation and maintenance. asides that, an over all exciting place to visit.

First time visit! Wikki Warm spring is highlight of visit. Safari/game viewing is a bit of a letdown. Wildlife sighting is not frequent, tells much about the dwindling wildlife population. Poaching is very prevalent in the reserve. 3 poachers caught a day prior to my visit, while a ranger was shot in the process. Rogue gunshots heard during game viewing in a hide. Poacher footprints seen while tracking hippos. Rangers are poorly equipped and remunerated. More needs to be done for them. Restaurant is poorly managed. Meals are not readily available.

Yankari is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nigeria. A lot of the endangered species of animals scarcely found anywhere in the country are actually still in existence at Yankari National Park. You will get to see some animals you never dreamed were even in existence. The wonderful thing about the entire story is the way these animals are kept and taken care of in large numbers like they’ve never been wild animals. Nice and Great ambience and place , except there are lots of baboon roaming the environment which makes it more nature filled . However do not hold nylons with content in it freely as the baboons might come to you for their share of the content. Nice and natural wiki warm spring too, plus the museum is dope too. Gate fee of #1500 per head and #500 for coppers ....... and also #500 for wiki warm spring entry , #300 for coppers . However the safari is nice too , the tour vehicle is #6000 and can take as much as 10 persons but it’s advisable not to go during rainy season but best bet is dry season as the animals will be out to drink from just 1 well by then and they can also do controlled burning so you can see the animals . The restaurant is not bad , a plate of spaghetti and chicken or semo and chicken sells for #1000 and Pepsi for #200 . So go prepared ! #Etiemelo?!
