They are a top notch state government owned broadcasting service with both a television and radio station. They deliver quality service and have very friendly staff. The have a film academy within the premises known as "ABS film academy" where people can register to learn broadcasting, cinematography, graphic design and the likes. The students are taught by the staff and at the end of the semester period they write exams and are awarded certificates.

The place has really transformed since the APGA government came into power and under the supervision of the Managing director Uche Nworah. The radio station is one of the best in the city with a frequency modulation that spreads to neighboring towns and states. You can listen to their programs via the live streaming icon on facebook and other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter etc.
