Am sure it’s a 3 star hotel or more than. Perfect place for a get away from home. Secured environment, Karaoke, nice bar, good pool side, spectacular rooms, local and continental restaurant, sweet reception and the most loving thing is that it’s in the city of Uyo. Very close to The prestigious Ibom hall. Just try it out.

Located in the beautiful city of Uyo, just opposite the Ibom hall. Watbridge hotels and suites is a world class 4 star hotel with great rooms, a beautiful fountain and swimming pool. The grounds is big with a big car park, lounge area, bar, poolside seating, club and gym. The staff are helpful and courteous. We had a great time here.

This is an exotic hotel located in an accessible part of the city. It is also relatively new but the Management should pay more attention to maintenance so that the beauty will endure. I spent 3 nights here in October, 2019 and it was an enjoyable experience. The front desk officers were friendly. The only low side of my stay is the noise from the music blaring at the poolside. I advise prospective guests not to take any room facing the pool as the noise is more disturbing for rooms that side. I will definitely visit again.

The restaurant staff think complimentary breakfast means feeling the homeless, they are rude and the food is always cold. The room looks nice but you have to navigate the heater yourself and the baths leak. The bed is nice though very nice.

The hotel looks good to support the inflow of people into the Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state, one of the states in Nigeria that are making quite significant strides to move in the right directions of positive development. The hotel itself has all the parts that are needed for visit and work in Uyo that are required for a great stay; moderate rooms, quite good environment, excellent meeting places, a very active night life.

My colleague and I went to the hotel on the 9th of October 2019 to make enquiry about the rental of their Mandela hall. The price list at the reception area for the hall stated that the hall was N360,000. However, the manager/event person for the hotel stated that the hall was N600,000 but he could give us for N450,000. He went and gave us a proforma invoice for that amount. We were fortunate to have met the owner of the hotel as we were about leaving that evening. I am concerned as to why the manager was willing to dupe us with a difference of N90,000. We will be reporting the case to the owner of the hotel.

This place is ok, hosts many rooms and offers nearly constant light, WiFi, restaurant/bar, pool and venue. It is great that a hotel is able to afford all these things. Service good. But feel to an extent the scale of the hotel (around 100 rooms), means that attention to detail is lost. Eg in our room the light switch was broken, and in our bathroom the bath and/or toilet was leaking. Otherwise the room was comfortable, albeit a little basic. Pricing: the room price was reasonable, the prices for food and drinks were extortionate.
