The state government has allowed the stadium to fall short of maintenance. Perhaps because the state now has a new staduim (Godswill Akpabio International Staduim). The place is really bad for a stadium. As you can see the roof of the pavilion is falling off and all.

Very airy place, great for cardio work outs such as running, jogging, skipping. The stadium is small but the track is sizeable for athlete training. I doubt the stadium can contain up to or more than five thousand people. Well, unless people where to stand. Not secure though. Its just a place used for group workouts and small state events.
