U. J. Esuene Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Calabar, Nigeria. History. It is currently used mostly for football matches and this is the home stadium of Calabar Local football team. It is renowned for its neatness, though proper maintenance needs to be maintained to retain its standards. I have played here a couple of times, the sports shops are still spot on with good security and safety measures compliment this historic stadium.

Good access roads and points. This stadium is strategically located such that it can be accessed from all sides of the town. All the four walls of the stadium grants access to different parrs of the town. You have access from the Airport,the old Calabar, from the highway and from naval base and house of assembly quarters. Also, you hardly experience dense traffic from any of these routes.
