-
C
chinedu AkaWatt market was simple to access and the markets look neat. I also discovered that food stuffs are cheaper on Sundays at watt market.
-
L
Lucy EffiomThis market is very very very rowdy and messy, especially during rainy season because it is very poorly designed. However, you will find everything you need in this market... Even the things you never knew about. Oftentimes I would ask the seller "what are these?" or what are those?". From seafood to vegetables, meat, flour, etc. this market has it all. It is my opinion that prices in this market are more affordable than other markets, and it is bigger than most other markets. Saturdays are the busiest and this is primarily because most people cook or stock up food supplies on Saturdays, so the best time to visit the market is between 7:30 - 10am (if you are an early riser); the rowdiness begins from 11am with the peak at about 2-4pm. As rowdy and messy as it is, I prefer to shop at this market so I go there by 7am or 7:30am and on or before 8:30am, I am done and out. I do hope government will do something about this market someday though.

peter onyamThis is another most populous market around Calabar south of Cross River State, This market opens as early as 5 am and closes by 10 pm most time at 11 pm I solely wish to advise that this market is way too dangerous for you to go there at 8 am or even think to go to the market anytime and come back home by 6:30 pm Please beg you just because of your safety, do not go to that place late or come back late. Anytime you go there just say to your self "LOGE IS VERY PRECIOUS" I have warned you from experience.
