egwu egwuThe Amaekpu tower was built by Ugwumba age grade of Amaekpu Ohafia in the year 1975. It stands centrally along Isiama-Arochukwu road just opposite Ndi Alum compound. The tower is a unifying symbol and a major landmark on the Amaekpu soil and Ohafia clan in general. Since the citing of the clock on the tower it has always kept time and alarm every 15 minutes. The tower is a pride to Amaekpu community and if you ever visit the beautiful town try to take a snapshot at this wonderful spot.
